Yogurt can be applied alone, or as a mixture of yogurt, 2 tablespoons ground oatmeal, and 1 teaspoon lime juice. Apply the mixture to spots and allow to sit for 20 minutes each day for up to 3 months.
Mix 2 teaspoons sandalwood powder with rose water, lemon juice, and glycerin to form a paste. Apply paste to spots and let dry once per day for best results.
Aloe Vera gel can be applied to spots twice per day for 30 minutes. Repeat this process daily for 2 months. You can also take 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel by mouth every day for best results.
Massage castor oil into brown spots twice per day for several weeks. You can create a stronger remedy by adding almond oil, vitamin E, or coconut oil, and allowing the mixture to remain on spots overnight.
